Hemiatrophy of The Cerebral Hemisphere with Contralateral Cerebellar Atrophy: A Case Report

چکیده

Childhood cerebral hemiatrophy is a rare clinical condition. Its causes are numerous, but they can be divided into two categories: congenital and acquired. The type develops intrauterine, whereas the acquired early in life, usually before age of two. Cerebral syndromes characterized by wide range neurological symptoms. epilepsy, mental retardation, neuropsychiatric disorders common, movement such as highly asymmetric parkinsonism or hemidystonia, well problems, have been reported adults. Here we present 22-year-old patient who presented with refractory seizure. Imaging findings showed right hemisphere left cerebellar atrophy.
